To raise funds for research against cancer, ISAE-ENSMA organized on November 22, thanks to its students and in partnership with the Sport and Collection “500 Ferrari against cancer”, a demonstration on the mythical race “24 Hours of Le Mans”.
During the evening conference, led by Jean-Jacques Cecconi (journalist responsible for sports in the New Republic), Thomas Bouché (Williams F1 aerodynamic project manager, engineer ENSMA promo 2006) and Jean-Marc Teissèdre (specialist journalist “24 Hours of Le Mans”) presented the technical, sporting and historical aspects of the event.
Surprise guests were also honored: Jack Leconte (Larbre Compétition team manager), Christian Phillipon (Corvette C7R driver, gentleman driver) and Thomas Laurent (LMP2 driver Jacky Chan Racing team).
An exhibition of posters of the event in the hall of the school and the presence of cars like “Le Mans” on the forecourt of the ISAE-ENSMA (LMP2 MORGANE EVO – Corvette C6 R of Larbre Competition – MG GT Replica of 1963) were visible all day.
The donations sent by the participants were given to the Sport and Collection “500 Ferrari against cancer” for redistribution to the cancer center of Poitiers.
